About the GrowthLab Editorial Team
Every calculator, article, and explainer on GrowthLab is written and reviewed by our editorial team — a small group focused on producing financial education content that is accurate, clearly sourced, and free of the marketing language that dominates most personal-finance sites.
Who we are
GrowthLab is an independent, U.S.-based personal finance publisher founded in 2024. Our team combines backgrounds in software engineering, finance, and quantitative analysis. We do not currently disclose individual contributor names because we publish as a single editorial voice, and all content is reviewed by at least two people before publication.
We are not licensed financial advisors, registered investment advisors, CFPs, CPAs, or tax attorneys. We do not provide personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Our calculators and articles are educational tools intended to help readers think clearly about the math of long-term saving and investing.
What we publish
Two kinds of content. Calculators — interactive tools for modeling compound interest, doubling-time, retirement targets, and similar long-horizon questions. Every formula is documented on the page where it appears.
And long-form articles — guides on the underlying math, history, and decision-making behind personal finance topics. Every article cites primary sources (Federal Reserve, BLS, SEC, IRS, peer-reviewed research) rather than other personal-finance blogs.
How we work
We follow a documented editorial process — see our editorial standards page for the full version. The short version: nothing publishes without source citations, every calculation is independently verified, and we revise older articles when data changes rather than letting stale numbers sit on the site.
We also publish a financial disclaimer and privacy policy — please read both.
